It is really important that you have confidence in your medical team and, if you do, stick with them. You may hear about a variety of options: watch and wait, biopsy, surgery, resection, craniotomy. Ask your doctor to explain what each of these options means in terms of time scale, and ask for the detail of what is to be done in each of these options. It is sometimes really hard to make these difficult decisions and it is perfectly acceptable to seek second, and even third, opinions.
