Driving licence and getting around
If you have to surrender your driving licence due to epilepsy, you can apply for a Disable Person’s Railcards and/or bus passes. Click on the links below for further information:
If you do have seizures, you will find that you will be unable to drive until you have been seizure free for 2 years. The thorny issue, which many complain of, is actually getting your licence back and, sadly, this process can take far too long. Some of our group members have found that emailing ‘right to the top’ can be beneficial and can speed the process up.
