“Now in its seventh year, our charity football tournament and raffle raised a fantastic £1437.60 for Astro Brain Tumour Fund. Teams travelled from all over the country to play a competitive and friendly 3 tier tournament which was held in Newcastle on 6th July. A massive thank you to everyone who supported the event from those who played, bought raffle tickets or donated time or prizes, we couldn’t have done it without you.

The day was a great success with plenty of goals and ‘quality’ football being played. The C.B. Cup was won by After School Club, C.B. Shield by Whoopa FC and the C.B. Vase by Frontline Integrity.

After the tournament everyone involved went onto Shearer’s at Saint James’ Park to watch England win their Euro 2024 Quarter Final tie on penalties to a bouncing reception”.
